Frequently Asked Questions

Can I Claim With My Health Fund?

Yes. Private health insurance rebates can be claimed directly through our HICAPS terminal in our clinics with your health fund card. You can also claim after the session through your insurer’s online claim system.

How Do I prepare For An Appointment?

In your initial massage consultation, your therapist will ask you about your pain, how it started and what makes it worse. It is generally helpful if you have thought about this so you can easily provide this information when asked. Please wear closed in shoes  (if possible) and loosely fitting clothing to all massage appointments.

Will WorkCover Pay For Remedial Massage?

Unfortunately, WorkCover does not generally fund Remedial Massage appointments. Physiotherapy, however, is funded by WorkCover. If you have suffered an injury at work and require guidance, please contact us to discuss your treatment.

What Do I Do If I Am NOt Feeling Better

Remedial massage can be helpful for treating simple injuries and muscular pain. If your symptoms are not improving, however, it may be worthwhile seeing a Physiotherapist for an expert assessment, diagnosis and treatment.
