Alan Wan

Alan is a locally trained physiotherapist whose treatment style focuses on hands-on manual techniques combined with a personalized exercise program to address underlying muscular strength and control deficits. He has been awarded his advanced dry needling certification which allows him to integrate western acupuncture into the treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal and sports injuries.

Since graduating from the University of Queensland with First Class Honours, Alan has worked in private practices across Brisbane’s south side. He has a keen interest in the management of headaches, neck pain and shoulder pain and has completed the Watson Headache Course in Sydney. He is currently enrolled in the Doctor of Philosophy Program at the University of Queensland where his research is centered on the role of physiotherapy management following whiplash injuries. Click here to read more about Alan’s role at RECOVER Injury Research Centre.

Alan is also a keen rock climber and has been involved in Sport Climbing Australia events and Urban Climb events such as BoulderFest and Queensland State Titles. He has assisted with onsite coverage for immediate response climbing injury assessment and treatment. Clinically, he treats elbow, wrist and hand injuries. Outside of his professional work, Alan climbs weekly at Kangaroo Point Cliffs in Brisbane.

Joy Kim

B.Phty (Hons)

Joy graduated with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy with First Class Honours from the University of Queensland. She has experience in the management of sports injuries, post-operative rehabilitation, spinal injuries and neurological rehabilitation.

During her Honours research, under the supervision of a world leader in the field of whiplash and neck pain at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Joy developed special interests in postural and muscle dysfunction following whiplash injuries.  She has also taken additional training in the management of hip injuries, disorders and dysfunction. She is experienced in the treatment of Vertigo (BPPV) and can provide respiratory physiotherapy.

Joy’s treatment style is centred on the use of manual therapy and an individualised exercise program for the management of general musculoskeletal conditions including spinal and back dysfunction, and upper and lower limb injuries.  She is also a qualified clinical Pilates instructor and incorporates elements of Pilates into her therapy.

Joy has also been involved in onsite coverage of sporting events, including BoulderFest at Urban Climb in Milton and weekend sports for the Greater Private Schools of Brisbane.

Jacky Chiang

Jacky graduated with Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland. Jacky has gained experiences with a wide spectrum of conditions in hospitals and private practices. He has developed special interests in the management of sports injuries, spinal injuries, shoulder pain, headaches and dizziness. Jacky is passionate about delivering holistic care through a variety of manual therapy techniques and individualised exercises to achieve your goals. He is a Level 1 Sports Trainer and has taken external courses involving hydrotherapy for chronic diseases. Jacky will soon incorporate pilates and dry needling in his treatments.

Outside work, Jacky enjoys travelling, exercising at the gym and exploring new brunch spots!

Leya Koh

Leya graduated with her Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from the University of Queensland. She has experienced a wide range of physiotherapy settings including inpatient rehabilitation and musculoskeletal private practice, treating work and sports-related injuries.

She is passionate in delivering hands-on physiotherapy and applying the latest evidence-based exercise programs to help her patients manage their symptoms and achieve their short and long-term goals. She aims to identify the underlying cause of symptoms and dysfunction, thus reducing the risk of re-injury.

Leya enjoys managing all conditions and injuries, with a keen interest in the treatment of the shoulder, spinal pain, headaches and lower limb injuries. She has also taken additional training in Clinical Pilates (DMA) and incorporates this into her treatment.

In her spare time, Leya enjoys working out, hiking and catching up with friends over Brisbane’s best brunch and coffee shops.

Rebecca Officer


Rebecca’s extensive history of treating musculoskeletal injuries is evident in the precise use of manual therapies and exercise prescription. With a strong focus on hands-on treatment in conjunction with the use of advanced dry needling techniques, Rebecca will guide you through the best program possible to allow you to return to doing the things you love.

A graduate of the University of Sydney in 2007 with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy, Rebecca has been the treating physiotherapist for various sporting teams including NSW AFL and International Rules, Brisbane Strikers FC and Townsville Steelcats Netball.
Rebecca also has a keen interest in the treatment of lower limb and spinal injuries drawing on her experience working with Orthopaedic Surgeons in Sydney, Brisbane and Townsville. Having established the pilates programs at numerous physiotherapy clinics in Qld, Rebecca understands the importance of a balanced and stable core and will incorporate such knowledge in her approach to every treatment. This experience has been helpful in the management of a variety of injuries, from spinal/postural conditions to musculoskeletal issues of the shoulder and knee in elite athletes.

Susan Carr

Susan graduated with a BSc in Physiotherapy from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. She also holds a BSc in Science and a Certificate in Injury Management and Fitness in Sport. Susan enjoys running and partakes in various fun runs and half marathons.

Susan has worked both in Ireland and throughout Australia in Orthopaedic, Musculoskeletal and Paediatric physiotherapy settings. From this, she has experience treating a multitude of various conditions. She places a strong emphasis on manual therapy and exercise prescription along with postural retraining whilst providing individualised treatment programs. She has a special interest in managing neck, shoulder and elbow pain and is a member of SEPA Australia (Shoulder & Elbow Physiotherapists Australia). Susan also uses dry needling and western acupuncture, and pilates techniques as an adjunct to her treatment.

Charlie Li

Charlie is a passionate physiotherapist who has been immersed in a multitude of environments in several of the largest hospitals in the Brisbane’s Metropolitan and rural areas. Through experience Charlie has developed an affinity for musculoskeletal injuries and is passionate about helping patients with Migraines, lower back pain, shoulder pain and knee pain.
Charlie’s treatment approach combines targeted manual therapy and exercise experience to achieve long lasting results towards achieving patient goals, expect to experience hands-on manual techniques with personalised exercise programs incorporating clinical Pilates and other specialised treatment modalities.

In his spare time Charlie has cared for High level AFL and rugby league teams as a sports trainer as also assisted to provide first aid for high school sports events. He is also an avid sports lover with interests in weight lifting, snowboarding, volleyball and clinical Pilates. When he’s not exercising you can probably catch him trying out a new restaurant or in the cinema!

Steven Eo is a Remedial Massage Therapist at Anytime Physio. He joins our team after years of experience as a massage therapist in Malaysia and Australia. He completed his Diploma of Remedial Massage at the Australian College of Sports & Fitness in Perth and is currently studying an Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy. Steven practices deep tissue massage, sports massage, reflexology, lymphatic drainage massage and pregnancy massage.
